Got an idea to make farming easier?
Apply for a Dried Fruits Australia Innovation Grant, worth up to $3,000. The grants recognise innovations that have demonstrated or show potential to be of significant benefit to the Australian dried grape industry.
Australian growers are renowned for their ability to build new contraptions and tools to improve production and increase efficiency on the farm. DFA aims to encourage innovation through the creation of up to four innovation grants per year. Grants are available to current Australian dried grape grower members (or a group of growers) and are paid on a dollar-for-dollar basis, up to a maximum of $3,000 per grant. For example, if a project is expected to cost $4,000, the successful applicant will be awarded a $2,000 grant.
- The project must be a new initiative or an improvement on an existing product. It can include equipment, tools, and processes.
- The innovation must have demonstrated or show potential to be of significant benefit to the Australian dried grape industry.
- An application must be lodged within 6 months of project completion.
Applications close 5pm, Friday 24 November 2017. All applications will be assessed by the DFA Board. Contact DFA for an application form.
