In this article:

The time to budburst for Saltuna grapevines, either on its own root system or on different rootstocks, was studied on plants grown under greenhouse conditions and irrigated with several differently concentrated chloride salt solutions.

Increased chloride concentration within canes was negatively correlated with time to budburst in all rootstock combinations.
