In this article:
The purpose of the paper is to overview the discussions that occurred during the workshop session of the meeting.
The participants were asked to address (1) The accuracy of current estimates of vine transpiration, cover crop transpiration and soil evaporation, (2) knowledge gaps, (3) research required to fill the gaps, (4) structuring the research regionally and nationally, and (5) extension of current and new information.
