In this article:

Work was carried out over two years into stickiness and compaction of dried vine fruit.

Areas investigated include: where skin damage occured during processing and how this affected stickiness; the processing differences between rack and trellis dried sultanas; the effect of dressing oil application and pack size on stickiness; and the development of a practical method to measure stickiness.
