In this article:
CSIRO research has been concerned with developing an understanding of Sultana vine behaviour and management. As cultural practices have improved vines have tended to be bigger, necessitating changes in vine management.
This paper details the changing management practices for Sultana vines that were derived from research the CSIRO conducted into trellis design, pruning practices, mechanisation and harvest pruning.
