In this article:
This paper is a preliminary account of experiments on pruning sultana grapevines when the fruit is mature, aimed at reducing manpower needed for harvesting. Treating vines once in this manner did in no way affect the next season’s yield. Possible means to mechanise the harvest are discussed.
